Biography
A former oil painter, programmer since childhood, zancan has made his mark in NFT art through a figurative-generative style inspired by the natural world. Thanks to Javascript code, visual symbolism and a somewhat obsessive appreciation of green color, his dense digital images or physical drawings made with pen-plotters address social and environmental issues or question the interaction between man and nature. His series “The Lushtemples”, “Garden, Monoliths”, “A Bugged Forest” have been the top-selling collections on the Tezos blockchain. His long-form open editions series “Landscape with Carbon Capture” or the recent “Aux Arbres” made the headlines for being the largest generative art collections on the blockchain.
