Generative Art Summit Berlin

“Generative AI is a wave that will massively change the way we work creatively. It is a tool that can fully unlock our potential. At the same time, it raises massive questions about human artistic creation per se. It is important that we discuss now how we want to shape the future.

I am very much looking forward to exchanging ideas on generative AI and art with distinguished experts and authorities at “Art Meets Science”. Such a format is truly outstanding in Germany.

Dr. Simon Hembt is a lawyer at Bird & Bird LLP specializing in intellectual property, copyright and media regulation, with a focus on digital media and entertainment, technology and consumer goods. He has particular expertise in advising clients in the creative and entertainment sectors on the legal challenges and opportunities presented by generative artificial intelligence. Simon is a frequent speaker and writer on how AI technologies can be reconciled with existing and evolving legal frameworks, addressing issues ranging from copyright to specific regulatory requirements.

My Summit thesis: “Generative AI is a wave that will massively change the way we work creatively. It is a tool that can fully unlock our potential. At the same time, it raises massive questions about human artistic creation per se. It is important that we discuss now how we want to shape the future.
