Today, it is considered a milestone in generative art. In the 21st century, this now extends to the latest generation of the Internet, Web3, and the use of artificial intelligence. The foundation has invited more than 50 guests of honor from all over the world to exchange ideas about these multifaceted creative design concepts. They range from the classic computer art of the 20th century – such as Frieder Nake, Larry Cuba or Christa Sommerer – to the latest generation of AI artists, for example Sasha Stiles and Mario Klingemann. But the world’s most important collectors of this art movement, such as Anne and Michael Spalter, as well as renowned museum representatives, well-known curators and founders of NFT platforms are also part of this community gathering from all over the world. The “Generative Art Summit” will be the focus of the activities of the “art meets science – Herbert W. Franke Foundation” in 2024.
