The exhibition Art – Code – Constructions at the Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg opened July 5th with almost 80 visitors. It was opened as part of a day trip to the Generative Art Summit, organized by the foundation at the Akademie der Künste in Berlin. The show has now been documented photographically. We are publishing a selection in the Generative Art Summit event area of this website as a permanent archive. The exhibition is open to the public in Wolfsburg Castle until 2024, August 24. It mainly shows works from the “Franke & Friends” collection of the Foundation Herbert W. Franke. Its origins date back to the 1950s, when Herbert W. Franke began exchanging own works with other artists. Today, the collection is being expanded by the foundation through purchases or donations.
